Indigenous Languages of the Caucasus (vols, 1 and 2) Corrigenda, Comments, and Related Issues

In 1980 a group gathered in Leiden to discuss a project to publish 50-page descriptions of all the languages of the Caucasus. This was meant to be a rough equivalent in English to Jazyki Narodov SSSR, Iberijsko-Kavkazskie Jazyki (Moscow, 1967), with the essential difference that information on syntax, neglected in that earlier volume would be given due weight.
